The Spring 2010 issue of Wildlife Australia Magazine features my article on Musky Rat Kangaroos, titled “Four on the Floor: Down to Earth with Musky Rat-kangaroos”. The article covers the habits/behaviour of these amazing marsupials, as well as my attempts to photograph them in the tropical rainforests of Tropical North Queensland. Emerald-spotted Tree Frog – ACF Diary 2011
The Australian Conservation Foundation 2011 Desk Diary features 3 of my photos (including a tiny gilled fungi, a Barking Owl and an Emerald-spotted Tree Frog). All proceeds from the sale of the diaries go directly towards conservation projects. To purchase a copy of this diary, click here or head to your nearest ABC retail outlet.
In mid-September, Michael’s Photography Workshops presented another successful 5 day “Mountain Experience” at Lamington National Park, south east Queensland. During some allotted free time, I headed to Moonlight Crag lookout (overlooking the Kerry Valley) to photograph a moody sunset, as well as spending time photographing rustic fences and buildings at Luke’s Farm. Lamington (and the land around O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat) are looking so incredibly lush at the moment, with September recording the highest rainfall for that month since records began!
