Throughout autumn, I spent a decent amount of time in various rainforests along the east coast of Australia, taking photos for my up-and-coming audio visual presentation at the PSQ (Photographic Society of Queensland) Photography Convention, to be held over the Queen’s Birthday Long Weekend. After some of the best rains in years, it was good to see so many varieties of fungi flourishing, waterfalls full and lots of green, lush mosses.
I also stayed for 3 days at the delightful Mt Barney Lodge, as a guest of owners Tracey and Innes Larkin. Situated at the base of beautiful Mt Barney, the Lodge offers various types of accommodation, from camping to cosy cottage-style houses. I did lots of relaxing as well as some photography of the area. For more information about the Lodge, please visit http://www.mtbarneylodge.com.au
