Tasmanian Workshop/Tour A Huge Success! The fully-booked 7 day ‘Tasmanian Experience’ Photography Workshop/Tour I presented with landscape photographer, Luke O’Brien at the end of November 2012 was an absolute success! We were blessed with prefect weather for the whole week and there were more photo opportunities than we could have ever imagined. Stunning sunrise at Cradle Mountain/Dove Lake (one of the best ever), beautiful sunset at Freycinet on the beach, close-ups of wild wombats and echidnas, dolphins diving in and out of the water, only metres from our boat and much more. The workshop participants were so enthusiastic and everyone had a ball. A dream workshop…

For anyone who would like to spend a week in Tasmania with Luke and I, being shown the best locations and subjects to photograph and how to best photograph them, we have another identical Tasmanian workshop/tour on offer in March 2013, with some places left.

Australian Photography Magazine - June 2012 Australian Photography magazine has published my image of a sunset over the Sphinx, Girraween National Park, Queensland, for its June 2012 edition. This image took a number of 8 hour return driving trips to Girraween National Park, over a two year period, hours of steep hiking, clambering over massive rocks and icy-cold conditions, to finally achieve the shot I wanted!!

Sydney Audio-visual Presentation and Wildlife Photography Workshops I have just returned from a successful visit to Sydney, where I did an audio-visual presentation on nature photography to approximately 150 members of the Castle Hill RSL Photographic Club. The presentation was well-received and I stayed back for a ‘Question-and-Answer’ session, which I thoroughly enjoyed (members were able to receive answers to any photography-related questions). I also presented two back-to-back wildlife photography workshops at Taronga Zoo, to some very enthusiastic club members. Weather was delightful and apart from learning lot’s of new photographic techniques, everyone had loads of fun as well!
